About Us

We are The Place for youth in Douglas County!

We offer a traditional Awana program for:

  • Cubbies (3 - 4 year olds)

  • Sparks (K - 2nd grade)

  • T&T (3rd grade - 6th grade)

  • Trek (7th & 8th grade)

  • Journey (9th - 12th grade)

What is Awana?

  • Awana impacts and shapes the lives of millions of kids and adults worldwide through proven resources and expertise that helps churches and families develop lifelong disciples of Christ.

  • For over seven decades, the Lord has used the ministry of Awana to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world. The unchanging truth of the gospel drives the same vision we’ve held all these years to reach children in every corner of the globe as we walk boldly into the future and continue to be used by God to help change the world.

What happens at an Awana club:

  • Large Group Time
Kids gather together for Bible teaching, worship, announcements and awards. This is a great opportunity for kids to hear the Gospel from pastors, missionaries, and guest speakers!

  • Small Group Time
Relationships and belonging begin in small groups! Kids will have the opportunity to huddle around a consistent leader to foster warm relationships as they discuss the Bible lesson, ask questions, work through their handbooks and pray together.

  • Group Activity Time
Kids never forget playing games, making crafts and jumping (literally) into group activities!
